About Elaine Bell Catering
Locally grown organic foods are the ingredients that have shaped Elaine’s imaginative menus since the company’s beginning in 1982. Elaine works with local farms, including The Patch, Ocean Song and Oak Hill Farms, to continue her 27-year tradition of creating extraordinary culinary events, from the bounty of our community, sustaining her innovative style.
Food and Menu Preparation
Food quality, flavor and presentation are the hallmarks of Elaine Bell Catering. We strive to use organic, sustainable produce, hormone free meats and poultry and, whenever possible, wild fish that are approved by the Monterey Aquariums Seafood Watch List.
Composting and Recycling
Elaine Bell Catering has partnered with Napa Recycling and Waste Services (NRWS) to allow for complete recycling and composting both at our state-of-the-art kitchen in Napa, as well as at events. Boxed lunches will be prepared using:
- Natureworks containers, derived from corn grown in the USA
- SpudWare High-heat tolerant bio-based cutlery, which is biodegradable, sustainable, and durable
- Fabri-Kal portion containers, derived entirely from plants
- Traditional paper food packaging made from unbleached paper
